This was my mom's last favorite song. I remember her buying the album and playing it over and over when I was eleven. She'd turn it up in the car, play it on the stereo while we were painting, and dance & sing along whenever it came on. My sis told her she'd get sick of it if she kept playing it as much as she was but she never had enough time to. She died in an accident in 2005. My aunt always turns the station when this gets play time now and again. Still makes me sad whenever I hear it.

This was my favorite song of 2005, too. Every year I have a favorite song. To make a long story short my favorite song of 2012 was "Your Body" by Christina Aguilera and in 2013 it's "Come Along" by Vicci Martinez, and I do listen to those songs on repeat, but yes, it's true. You do get sick of your favorite song if you listen to it too many times on the same day. I'm sorry your mom died. Mine did, too, when I was six.
