  • So what the hell happened? To recap, the main character broke up with his girlfriend and deteriorated to a point of doing drugs, alcohol, and prostitutes. There is no reason to like the main character or care when he dies, that is if he is dead. There is no structure to this story. Without a well written story there is no reason to even make a film.

  • and I die a little inside... but in other words... keep trying?

    Thanks for the constructive criticism.

  • REally well done, but I have to agree with till death. Its funny to watch new smokers hold their cigerette.. :)

  • After watching a lot of these and commenting I feel like I have a shoe string chance of even getting nominated.

But I had fun. You learn something new in every film you make, so keep on filming.

Thanks for watching... and is the smoking that noticeable? Dag!

  • it's a great idea, but, a chain smoker junkie who doesn't inhale and a hooker that's really a dude? ...

  • exactly =)

  • From the guy on the bus: Good film! Like I said you will go far! :)

  • Now don't be mean, he was a friend reacting. It's what friends do.

I think that's what my next movie shall be about... =P

  • Keep trying but next time write a more structured plot or find a writer to write one for you. Film makers are story tellers not story writers. Writers write so that film makers can film. If you have trouble writing a well structured story I am sure you could find a good screenwriter somewhere. Good luck on your next project.

  • "There's no reason to make a film"? Are you serious? Do you know anything of what it means to be an aspiring filmmaker? It means to keep trying and trying, no matter what goes against you. And I'm not just saying this in defense as one of the people who worked on this film, I'm saying this in defense of all aspiring filmmakers. Whether or not you choose to sympathize with a character is for each audience member to decide on their own. But nonetheless your criticism is noted and not disregarded.

  • Oh wow! I loved how this turned out! It's amazing!!

  • That was brilliant!!! Great Cinematography and shot composition! Wonderful editing, and story, and the shot of the needle almost piercing his skin made me cringe, very well done. I really enjoyed it. What camera did you use to film with?
