@mattyboyz16 Some of the trucks on longboards are actually mounted on the top and go through to the bottom. That's the only reason he said that.

say benson a lot of pros have weird setups like John Cardiel who uses 126 indy's on a 8 wide board. does it really matter that the truck width have to be the same as the board width?

@1337ventura get whatever works for you, but in general, you want your truck axle length to be fairly close to the width of your deck.

@ak47sim123 I'd recommend starting with a 7.5" deck and go from there. If it feels too big, get a smaller deck, if it feels to small, go bigger.
