Highlights of the CMLL TV Taping @ Arena Mexico on 4/10/09! Finally after one dropped angle and weeks of build-up - Dos Caras Jr. officially betrays his partners and starts the lamest run as a rudo ever! But in better news... this show had some fun matches including Metalico/Hooligan in a Lightning Match, Mascara Dorada TEARING IT UP in a trios match, Dark Angel TEARING IT UP in a trios match and Negro Casas seemingly realizing all he's been missing from his life is Maximo.:D

Amazing show, I saw mascara dorada live, he is actually big to pull that kind of awesome moves, that proofs lucha libre doesnt give two shits about being a heavy weight, cruiser blah blah blah. 5*.

The song is great, it's from the new CD by Four Year Strong which only has cover songs.:) I love cover songs! Especially punk/rock ones of 80's music.

i think maybe valiente and virus has had one earlier if i remember correctly.

A Lightning Match is a 1 fall match with a 10 minute time limit. They used to stand out a lot on CMLL shows b/c the cards would be filled with 2/3 fall matches that went 20+ minutes so it was special to see a singles match where both guys worked really fast to get the win. But now with even the 2/3 falls matches going only 10 minutes the only attractive thing about a Lightning Match is you get to see people who don't normally make TV (i.e. Metalico vs Hooligan on this night).
