@kav2001c No way they were worse than the Skyhawks. They won five games in a full season in a real, established league. They also had some players who managed to make it into other leagues or other CFL teams. The Skyhawks were mainly a bunch of washouts who had been decent players in the ACC two to five years before. The WLAF was basically the "Last Chance Saloon" for them. None of them belonged in pro football on any level.

God, I used to be a season ticket holder to the Skyhawks. Had a blast even though they lost all their games.

And it all started with the March Miracle game here in Sacramento against the Surge.. We were suffering a drought, but when this game started, it rained Olympic pools at Hughes Stadium.. I had to leave at the end of the 1st qtr. By the time I got home, was halftime and the Surge got its first win..
