Bruce Cockburn: Hills of Morning

Hills of Morning, title track from Bruce Cockburn's masterpiece, Dancing in the Dragon's Jaws.
A quirky song, lyrically, from Cockburn's fundamentalist period: a first-person narrative of an would-be Christian, awaiting Jesus' arrival in Jerusalem (watching the fraying rope getting closer to breaking). Jesus arrives unceremoniously, the only giveaway the dust motes dancing around his feet.
The chorus contains at least one anachronism: would someone in 20 A.D. Rome have been familiar with the particle theory of light? The song is deceptively hard to play, because the vocals and guitar part are so full of embellishments. (Sorry for the very off note at the end) Tuning is CGCGCE, capo 3.
