WWJD

  • @davisgreen2020 There are plenty of Rockets that go into earth orbit and beyond. The Falocon heavy, launching in a couple of years will be able to get humans out of LEO. If 2015 is no time soon to you, I don't think you grasp the scale of the endevour that space travel is.

Constilation was a bad thing. It was a big hole people threw money down that should have been used for the James web, or running the shuttle, or developing rockets based on what NASA needs rather than what contracters want.

  • @usnsquirrel The shuttle returns more cargo to earth than any vehical ever used, or in development. Until that capability is matched the Shuttle won't be obsolete.

  • @victorvonlionvake The shuttle is obsolete. It has no purpose. It's extremely inefficient, in that it has over 50,000 lbs of useless stuff (the wings and tail) it has to haul to space on every single mission. Those 50,000 lbs are 1/3 of the empty weight of the orbiter. Besides, the shuttle orbiter is only good for Low Earth Orbit. And even then it can only last 3 weeks before it's dead weight and unusable.

Don't get me wrong, I love the shuttle for what it could have been, but shes done her job

  • NASA has become extremely pathetic. They should invent a new and better space shuttle instead of going back to a primitive 60's spacecraft design. I think instead of NASA, there should be more independent space exploration companies.

  • @davisgreen2020 I agree with you. I was wondering who narrated this vid. Thanks T

  • I wish so much this was them future timeline !! Sadly...Constellation was canceled ! And sub-orbital planes or rockets will not get to the Moon or Mars any time soon !
