no. when recording you only get the "normal" delay. I think it's the one based off the memory man or the echoplex. but you can tweak the knobs in real time for some wacky effects in your loop

hey man i just got my dl4 2day in the mail. I'm pretty new to it and was wondering if you can use any of the effects while u are looping??

definately

yeah if you have a good drummer. it's much much easier to have a good and tight, band.

so can you record a loop of some chords and than solo over it without recording? i ask because i love floyd and wanna play the solos with the chords looping , ie comfortably numb

@haynesallica Yes! You can record just a "layer" of chords and "Stop" the recording. Your loop will play till the neighbours complain and your solos will not record. OR you can "keep recording" and each layer will add to the previous.
It's great for working out a lead over a progression you don't have to keep asking your bandmates to "play that section again"

This is really nice soundscaping. Very inspitational. Is it possible to fade out a loop?

you would have to get the separate expression pedal. in loop sampler mode it becomes a volume pedal for the playing loop
