Vortex on the SNES

Many people dont know about this game. It was made using the same graphics engine as the original Star Fox. But since Nintendo had no involvement in it's developement it didnt get the hype that Star Fox did and it wasnt as good of a game. However I still enjoyed it and I think it was a little ahead of it's time.

the 16-bit gen was the most innovative, technology-wise. we got pre-rendered and digitized 2d graphics, fmv games (sega cd) and real 3d polygon games. later on it was just better graphics and control.

this game from 1994 is the preview for lylat wars on n64. think about it.

the game was ahead of his time.
