I have a question ...how do you keep the cake from not moving? I bought a Wilton's cutter and tried it out yesterday...I hated it!!!! it was a waste of money. I need something a little heavy duty like yours. I am going to check out your site.

@Partyongarth420 We've done it both ways over the years, and. it's much more difficult to keep a knife straight for even leveling or torting. If torting and one side is thinner/thicker than the other, you have to be sure to line it up like that again, which usually does not happen, then you have doubled the difference in thickness.

@GirlArmy21---I place a non skid mat under the cake board to help prevent the cake from moving. Plus this leveler glides and cuts pretty smoothly so it does not put as much pressure on the cake to move it.
