I can't wait to perform this at the Florida All State, and my choir is also using this piece for our next concert! The song is absolutely beautiful, I love how David Dickau made the text flow so beautifully.

I sang this song at my friend's funeral this past Monday with the choir. It was the hardest thing I ever did in my life.

I just got back from Atlantic city for the NJ All-State Mixed Chorus. We're Singing another Dickau piece (If Music Be the food of love), and i'm singing this one in my school's select choir. Both are simply breathtaking and emotional songs.

nj choir directors must share the same taste in choral music because i sang that in bergen county chorus like only three years ago. i wish they'd mix it up. at one point two songs were shared by BC chorus and NJ allstate, which is good if you don't feel like learning a ton of music, but bad if you want to diversify your repertoire :/
