A creditable seond to Morley Street here, as was his custom by this stage of his career, went back over fences, winning at Haydock and Worcester (he had already won the Haldon Gold Cup at Devon in the race prior to this) and falling in dessie's historic (at the time) 4th King George VI Chase.
