It's pretty sad the psychological effect of a post-war Guam. Generations inheriting their grandfathers and grandmothers post-traumatic stress of World War 2. There's a need for many youth on guam to feel good and be happy. They turn to drugs, drinking, and partying with ill-effects to the next generation and suicide at a ridiculously high level on Guam.
There is no reason to feel and be happy anymore. The world is a sad and cruel place. The happy ones are always the first to die.
