@Lavenderrose73 A great trumpet will sound and He Jesus will call us each by name ( The saved) And we will meet Him in the sky. Whats even more awsome though is that all this is beyond our imagination as mortal sinners at this moment we are simpley incapable of even coming close to how trueley beautiful and awsome it will be. To think that we will see Jesus face wow truley nothing compares. Praise Him always friend!!!

GOD's WORD is a MOVIE, but u gotta watch the whole movie and Pay CLOSE ATTENTION** REVELATION20:6-9 the EARTH will never be DESTROYED, all good people don't go to heaven! John was almost 100 when he wrote revelations da last apostle!! rev14:3 only 144,000 went to heaven cause he saw it.

@MadeAlivestudio Yes, His saint are gathered at the end. But there is also a rapture of the wicked too. Luke 17:32-37 & Matt.24:38-41, are referring to the terrible judgment of the wicked, not the wonderful gathering together of His elect. Matt. 24:31 is referring to the saints, and 24:38-41 is referring to the judgment of the wicked. 2 totally different types of "raptures" (1 is judgement, the other is glory) for 2 different groups of people, both events occur at the end.

When Jesus returns in the clouds AFTER the time of great tribulation, his angels are going to gather his elect/saints. Those who are left behind are those who are unbelievers and they will face the wrath of God. (see Matt 24:31)

@MadeAlivestudio ...upon those *not* watching.Those watching are not harmed by the thief, because they would have been faithful & watchful, & not caught off guard.Notice in 1Thes. 5:1-10, non-believers are living in ease & peace, they are not watching the signs, they are sleeping when the thief comes. To the contrary believers are told to watch & be sober.The thief doesn't catch believers off guard, instead the thief finds believers faithful & watching for Him when He returns.

These people are taken to judgement -- to their deaths -- to be devoured by birds -- they are NOT being raptured. The disciples recognized this prophecy about the birds coming together, it's in Ezekiel 39:17-18:
