  • You sound so beautiful. I love the way you sound. I think that the violins should listen to the violas and cellos though. Try not to overpower them. I have the same problem in my orchestra. Violas and cellos yours auch a lovely instrument be louder and prouder. The more people hear you the more the music will be glued togther because the violins will always be loud and proud so you should too.

  • So beautiful. :')

people who still have much trouble playing in tune, and are not very flexible on their instrument. This is because they are not too serious about music, and this brings about many other problems. Anyway

If the problem is that the musicians are not as capable, but are still trying very hard, then you HAVE to be positive about it--which is probably the reason for the people arguing the critics.

But if they aren't taking their music seriously, then it is a major, major problem.

I recently listened to a recording of myself playing with an ensemble in elementary school--it was way out of tune, but I did not remember it being out of tune. This is because I was not a well-developed enough musician to really understand intonation when I played it.

Now, when you get into high school ensembles, it gets really frustrating, because there are people like me who have perfect pitch and play professional-level concertos, and IN THE SAME DAMN ENSEMBLE there are (cont.)

  • @frenchy036 There is a perfect combination of being positive and being realistic. It is vital for music educators to have this, because most young music students are not like you and will become discouraged (ie discouraged from playing music) if they are constantly told what mistakes they are making. Also, depending on what level the players are at, they may not be capable of understanding what it is like to play something perfectly--even if they have heard it. (cont.)

  • I have to applaud all youth orchestras. I hope they carry on with classical and also get into other types of music.

This is a very evocative track and nicely enough arranged.

The solo piano suits it best but very few players capture it correctly.

  • this is really not bad for a youth orchestra. well done, guys! being a conductor myself, I can guess that it took a lot of hard work for this performance. once again, well done!

  • hah bunu beğendim işte..

  • I thought it was good.
