Found off of the SE part of Papua New Guine in fast moving waters. Parkinsoni Rainbow are super colors of orange and even red. They eat algae and insects in the wild. I keep mine at 78 degrees in more alkaline water like 7.6-7.8 (though I never test my water. Be sure to feed rainbows garlic around once a month as they get internal paracites a little easier then other fish. (especially w/new fish)
yo im keeping rainbows in 20 gallon, just til they get more size, but they are doing great

Any tips for the smaller species of rainbows? ie, furcatas, celebes, gertrudes, threadfins, etc.

Anyone with extra plants? Cuttings that would otherwise be thrown out? Wrap them in baggies and place in an envelope, and mail them to me.
I am limited on funds, currently, but I want to get my 55 bumped into a jungle.
If you do this, when I get financially back on my feet, I'll be happy to return the favor, or refund your postage.

Rainbows are cool. They seem interested in the camera. You should do Red Tail Catfish next! Lol, na don't. It'll tear up your tank just by swiming.
