Now, for the search enthusiasts :), I should probably add something more relevant:
1. "Hot and cold" a.k.a. "Hot N Cold" was written by Katy Perry, Max Martin and Dr. Luke... which is not really a doctor but rather a producer, among other things.
2. "Hot and cold" appears on Katy Perry's album named "One of the boys"... which is also one of her two studio albums (to date), the first one was named "Katy Hudson", after her name... and that's a very good reason to also mention here Kate Hudson, because the similarity between this names (Katy Perry-Kate Hudson) appears to be the reason Katy Perry changed her stage name.
3. "Hot and Cold" was also released as a single, and reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100... but didn't do so well on the Billboard Cold 100
4. Hot and cold opposition was chosen to give this track's name from the many oppositions that appear in its lyrics (yes-no, up-down, in-out, black-white) because... well, because of the same reason I'm writing this. Because it makes sense, because it attracts more people than the other words... and I'm talking about the song here :))
