Created on March 29, 2011 using FlipShare. This is always one of my most favorite train shows each year. It takes place yearly in march at the Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation Inc. In Findlay, Ohio Also known as "Flag City USA" They operate quarter scale live steam & diesel locomotives and offer rides to the public for a low fare. It is always neat to ride with the live steam locomotive 2-6-2 #901 which was built in the late 1940's as it has the "old time feel" with the steam and smoke. It is a coal fed engine. The also have a small diesel locomotive which you can see in the video. Anyways the train show which is held in the train storage shed (note the track at 2:13 in the video) had many great deals and great items. I will post a video of what I purchased soon. In adition to there quarter scale live steam & diesel rides they also own a B&O and a N&W caboose, a wodden boxcar, 2 industrial Plymouth switchers (full scale) and a wood station station. They operate on a half mile of 15" track and normaly run around the track twice per trip. Also they have an HO and a O scale layout. In their museume they have many things to show off including a motorcar, track MOW tools, railroad papers, and much more! The NWORRP is run all by hardworking volunteers who are very nice and full of info to share. After the show Bryce (ohiofoamer7612) and I went to Fostoria, Ohio to watch trains which will be my next upload. Dan or Trainmandan05 was at the show Promoting his custom wearthering business called "Dan's Custom Trains" If you don't know I purchased my HO Scale Athearn Norfolk Southern GP40x weathered from him.
