  • This should be described as a slow day at the ghats. I recall not so long ago at least 6 burning pyres going at once. The movement of the water is very slow now and hardly moves the material down stream... the sand bagging helps to direct the water to one side for this purpose... of moving ashes along. This is a National Heritage site and one of many places in this beautiful country having a special meaning to observers. A must see...

  • Thanks for uploading this.

  • hope u have a great time there........

  • so what do u think about Nepal...Is its beautiful....

  • I wsa in Nepal for 3 weeks in June 2007. I could have gone to Ibiza ! I chose another world, another century, a culture so alien from my own. I will never forget a second. I spent days heere just observing, understanding nothing.
