hey bro do you think if i lower my 1969 vw beetle 2 inches with some spindles and i have 190/60r15 in the front do you think the fender would be scrapping with the tires?

i dont think so man, just measure from top of your tire to the fender lip, if its more than 2 1/2 inches your good. I usually run that size in the back of a bug, so not sure if it will clear but it should.

what is the think on the window of the one at :30? Ive always wondered what those were on VW's and cant find it on the internet

hey its called a Car Swamp Cooler. You fill it up 1/3 of the way up with water, pull a cord, it rotates a round pad inside through the water, has a hole in the front that blows the air through the pad and into the car. It works pretty good in dry climates, if theres humidity, its sucks, lol.

would a lerner be able to drive a bug becaus im 16 im already able to drive fine all i need is a lerners permit but could use a VW bug as my first car? cuzz i love them so much and i want my first car to be an iconic one :)

@OriginAndAbsolution the dash is connected to the car, you would need to cut it out, if there's nothing wrong with the dash, i personally would just keep it the way it is and do like a middle console to put your switches ect.

Thinking of buying and modifying my own bug.. Could do with a little help before I do though. It's only basic but what is the 'dash' constructed from and how easy is it to remove/replace? I'm thinking of doing some electronic work that will require a custom dash (fibreglass) for start switches ect..
