@Unjesue Where do you train capoeira? What state and city? I have a few "how to" capoeira videos on my Channel,mixed in with my karate techs and exercises.I hope that you come by and take a look at them.I routinely pull off cartwheel kicks,cartwheel escapes,roles and head butt attacks plus many of capoeira's allegedly "unrealistic/nonfunctional/imp­ossible" techs. The set up and surprise value alone almost guarantees success,and the few times I fail? The shock of my near success scares fighters

@ATACXGYM continued...just as angola faded in the mid 19th century and was brought back to a new generation, then perhaps now that people are working hard to make sure the "fight" still exist there is hope. I remember reading somewhere that " To save Capoeira you must Fight capoeira!" I hope you post your videos so that everyone can bathe in a new experience.Axé...

@ATACXGYM I agree with what your saying when it comes to how people are loosing the "luta de Capoeira" and instead focusing on the "jogo". But where I train we do train for fighting as well as the roda. We do have jogo duro's and sparring matches.Infact I spar practitioners of other martial arts on a regular basis.I've only been a Capoeirista for about 3 years now...so I still have much to learn. But based on what I do know I can say that even though the fight in capoeira may have subsided
