I wouldn't take behavioral advice from someone who doesn't know how to put a muzzle on. Really, watch it again. He puts the muzzle on upside down.

In all seriousness, please seek the help of a well credentialed behaviorist. These concepts were cutting edge 50 years ago and are now outdated by at least 30 years.

@Honeybowtie , you've been afraid of your dogs displays since the day he first showed one. This is the result. Go get some training for YOU, not the dog. A good book for you is "The Mind of a Dog" by Bruce Fogle. Long, very clinical but good. You can send the dog to the best minds in the world but until you fix YOU, he'll just do it again. You've trained him to be this way unknowingly by reacting incorrectly to his small aggression displays. They grew!

@Lolmank123 Aim for the nose. And if you can when it is stunned grab it by the back of the neck and DO NOT LET GO! Show the animal who is boss, but be very careful, most dogs are very flexible in their neck and could flick around and bite you when you grab them. That's all I really know, I suggest you seek a professional for more info.

@RacoonsAndSeals I volunteer at an animal shelter and when I need to work with aggressive dogs I have my A-game on. If a dog comes at me I will defend myself. I don't care if that means kicking, hitting, or even yelling like a madman at the dog. Do I kick it when it growls? No, but I back up and give it space. I love dogs, but I wouldn't want one to rip me to pieces because I'm worried about the dog. I'm just saying that kicking a dog is not evil if you have the right purpose.
