This song from Roger Waters' 1987 album 'Radio KAOS' perfectly illustrates the both the dark age of the Bush administration, as well as the hope for a better future which Senator Obama brings to America and to the world. When Senator Obama delivered his historical Philadelphia address, this song instantly came to mind, so I decided to create this mash-up as a tribute to everyone who is helping and hoping to turn the tide.

I don't know, this is the first time I have seen this video. I've known the song since it's been out of course, but first time seeing that video. It looks so utterly comical now, I agree, but if I saw that back in 2008, when it was first put out, I probably would have wept. Seriously. I'm a Canadian, but I still remember the feeling of...possibility? I think it was an appropriate use of the song at the time, and I daresay Roger may even agree with me.
