According to "obama's" Dept of Labor,227K jobs were added LAST MONTH.But,over 300K file for 1st time unemployment EACH WEEK.Do the damn math.Among those ACTIVELY looking for work the unemployment rate is 8.3%.Add in those that STOPPED LOOKING,it's 9.8%.Counting both of those + ones who settled for PART TIME work,it's a whopping 14.9%.Why doesn't the ole Usurper in Chief show the REAL truth.Oh hell,what was I thinking?He lied about his place of birth, so what's one MORE lie gonna hurt?

In many cases yes. If the stock increases in value then you have received a return on investment. You can borrow against it or use it in many ways other than liquidating it. And no sorry, nobody has to take a loss for someone to make money on a stock.

Further the arguments of people like you that essentially, because some income is taxed at a higher rate than capital gains capital gains taxes should be raised exposes a critical flaw in your thinking. A smart person would argue that their taxes should be cut to match capital gains not that someone else should have to pay more. Thinking like that is why you aren't rich.
