I am sorry.
Ruby was a fine Australian woman, a force for Peace and Reconciliation in times that were violent and shameful.
She is an example to all Australians about what one person can achieve if they have the will.
ABC today: "Ruby Hunter was born by a billabong in the Riverland region of South Australia in 1955 of the Ngarrindjeri Kukatha and Pitjantjatjara people. She was taken from her family at the age of eight."
My thoughts are with her family and friends.
Vale Ruby Hunter.
