One thing that you really ought to know, merely by understanding the meaning of the words that you use, is that in order to be "name calling" you need to do more than just criticize someones actoins, you actually do need to assign a label to them.

Pathetic means collosal failure that makes me laugh.
The only thing that the have in common is that they are both pejorative.
