  • Constitution is out of date!! Create new constitution, or amendments that are more relevant to this time!

Children of slaves automatically became US citizens, so that they could stay in this country. Nowadays, illegals, and even tourist take advantage of this out of date law that is hurting all of us!

Right to bear arms was to protect people against militias. There are no militias now only criminals!

Constitution was written to solve problems in the times when it was written. TIMES HAVE CHANGED

  • @tomasgulas The Constitution is a fairly brilliant document IMO. It allows for the amendments that you want. You have to work REALLY hard to get them but it's possible. Immigrants are not the problem. But if they want to stay they should learn to speak our language . . . Lakhota. The Right to bear arms was designed to protect us from our government. You are either a sophisticated bot, or with the CI A or silly. Do more research and come back with something meaningful instead of nihilistic.

  • Perhaps Americans should have congress pass another law, any president or group that tries to rise above the consitution will be considered a terrorist.

  • Or maybe we could just install a trap door in the oval office and give a good constitutional lawyer a red phone, to trigger it, in case of an emergency.

  • Since September 11th, 2001 our Administration has been waging a continuous and unyielding crusade on our Freedoms.

With laws like this, our government will actually become more dangerous to it's own people than the terrorists are.

  • Ain't it the truth? Let's just say, for the sake of argument, that 9/11 really was a terrorist attack (tho physics certainly casts some doubt on the jet fuel theory). 2,998 fatalities. Unavoidable if you swallow the official line.

Katrina killed 1,836 but was totally AVOIDABLE by funding the Corps of Engineer requests for levy updating. But instead US leadership chose spend that money in Iraq. They needed about $95 mil. The math 1,836 + 3,945 US war casualties = more than 9/11 and at US hands

  • The Federal Reserve Note is just a damn piece of paper! Buy silver !! BTW, Find and read Public Law 108-447 which amends Tite 36 Section 106 of the U.S. Code. Do the public schools in your state even mention the U.S. Constitution on September 17th? By law, they are required to provide an educational program!

  • They'd never do that; they'd all then be considered terrorists.

  • Who would have ever thought that Paul Craig Roberts would sound so much like Hunter S. Thompson?!!! I really like Ron Paul's appreciation of the Constitution but I prefer Dennis Kucinich's USE of gov't to totally bowing gov't out, knowwhutImean? Frankly, though, there is a better candidate . . . ME!

  • Maybe Gonzo and gang decided that, just like the Geneva Conventions on prisoner of war treatment, the Constitution is "quaint."
