Hi again, in this video Niko uses his Wiimote as a mouse with his computer. This is only using tilt and rotation, because I haven't built my sensor bar yet (but I will soon).

Also, it looks like I forgot to show how I can right and left click with the Wiimote, but I'll do all that good stuff in part 2 with the sensor bar.

P.S. Sorry about my messy office.

  • your stupid friend is using the mouse

  • Um..no he wasn't. Obviously from other videos of the same kind of thing its possible, so why is it so hard to believe that we did it the same as they did? Google it and you'll see how to do it.

  • You can use anything as a sensor bar; anything that produces infra red. (candle, vcr, etc.) I'm using mine as an HTPC remote, I use the mic for vocal commands. I rotate the controller to up/down the volume... and actually incorporate gyrsoscopic functions to change track, scroll and more. I will soon release vids on how I did it.

  • The HTPC remote sounds cool, I'd like to hear more about that. I know about the other infra red things, and I've used a candle with my Wii hooked up to the TV, but my computer monitor is slanted and it's a hastle to have someone hold up the candles so they don't slide off and burn my house down :P

  • lol i love how people think they are smart when there not

    1. It is entirely possible to use the wiimote as a mouse without the Sensor bar. It uses the accelerometers in the remote to detect movement. This is how games like Excite Truck for the wii detect movement. Excite truck does NOT use the sensor bar to detect movement.

    2. You CAN use a wii sensor bar with a PC. Just turn your wii on and place the sensor bar ontop of your PC monitor :/ Or just use some candles.

  • Sorry i'm replying kinda late. I know that if you put two candles by your wii it will work as a sensor bar so i gess it'll work with a computer

  • Who needs to learn to read moron? What did I say originally? You truly are a fucking dult.

  • Did I say they were IR lights? Moron, learn to read?

  • Moron, no one said candles didn't produce IR, BUT, they ARE NOT IR Lights. Bottom Line. I produce IR, Am I an IR light? you fucking dult, go to school.

  • So... (i feel like a noob for asking this...) if i put two heat producing lights above my pc it will act as a sensor bar?

  • Infrared = Heat

    Fire = Heat

    Candles = Produce Heat

    Therefor, Candles produce Infrared light.

  • Cool ^^

  • Candles?.... are not IR lights... buddy. BUT, you can simply go to Radio Shack and buy 2 IR LED's for $4

  • Cool...XD

  • hey yeah this isn't fake cos i just did it then.. so to all u fucks that think ur smart, go fuck yourself
