Master Hassan Kassayi playing Setâr during one of his last public concert in Esfahan.
For this unique ney master, it's always a delight to play Setâr ; this performance demonstrates that technic is not the source of expression and art.
A suite in Afshari with darâmad, tchahâr-mezrâb, tasnif, gooshe-ye Arâgh and reng.

  • @videopeghbal : you may be right ; in fact Afshari and Nava are built on the same scale ; the differences are the "ist" note (stop not), the types of melodies and the "hal" (spirit) of the dastgah.

The beginning seems to be Nava definitively, but the second part of the piece seems nearer to Afshari.

Let's find an expert to conclude definitively ....

  • به نظر دستگاه نوا میاد و نه افشاری. اشتباه میکنم؟
