Northamptonshire Police - Keep Safe Card

The Keep Safe card is a new initiative developed jointly by the Learning Disability Partnership Board, Mencap and Northamptonshire Police. The card is available to anyone in Northamptonshire with a learning disability. The card will hold details including the user's name, contact numbers for a carer or family member, how they communicate for example sign language and important health/medical information. The card can be used if the individual is lost, has been a victim of crime or is in any situation which means they need additional support. This DVD has been created to show who the card is for, how and when to use it and how it can benefit not only the user but the people being handed the card for example Police Officers and Staff.
