Hey, guys, my name's Bruno... I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil and I'm here to show some people how to play Metallica's "To Live is To Die" Acoustic Part... But to play it RIGHT! I've seen a lot of videos and, believe it or not, many of them wasn't that good...

Is it just me, or is this rediculously fucking hard? I've been playing guitar for about a year and a half, but this just boggles my brain. Is this a piece that you have to have years of experience to play or what?

No, it is not hard. This was the first piece I have ever played on a guitar. So, I can tell you: practice. I got it from the official ..And Justice for All tab book. Might help.

@AnnaNicolesDeathbed no, not really. It's just James' style to play around with plucking different chords. They loved doing that back then...thickening up the sound by using these crazy ways to play chords.

i know you probably get this alot but ive been tyring so hard to learn this and tabs DOV NOT HELP because i do not know the picking or anything. id you could post a guide showing your picking hand aswel as the fretting hand that would be great and many people would benefit from it. thanks

@AnnaNicolesDeathbed Well you are onto something, somewhat. It's SORT of hard because it uses unusual chord variations of fairly common chords. Other than that it's just practise really as bruno said.

I'd like to see one video walk you through the song, sitting down and playing it isn't teaching. What you did is a COVER. If i could get a decent tab, i wouldn't be on youtube. But damn all you people do is play the thing, next time, walk us through it, or change the title to cover, thanks.
