@emziibbz101 ok i work with horse all day every day, i been riding since i was 5 im 16 now, and im not replying to put you down or anything but heres a few good tips for you, 1.look at your legs in the saddle, are they level? next, make sure your legs are close to the horse (not lying far back), keep your heel DOWN, many riders lose balance when nudging on (kicking) master this and you will find riding more enjoyable, and to canter i recomend building it up with a trot, keep asking for canter.

I'm a pro horse rider so i sugest if you wanna canter a horse do this 1. Click your tongue as if your calling a dog, doing so will canter your horse 2.Use your right foot to gently kick the horses side, doing so will make your horse go into a canter as well 3.Whip the reigns to make your horse canter,I reccomend whipping the reigns to let the horse know your in charge, failure to do so will cause the horse to buck you off.I hope this came in handy for you people who wanna ride a horse thumbs up 2ya

@emziibbz101 I'm nowhere near a horse expert, nor even a good rider, but here are just a few things I would suggest
1. I've noticed that pressing helps me a lot
2. If your horse doesn't respond to squeezing, try clucking and kicking :)
3. pretty much the same as 2- clucking, kicking, squeezing, whatever works best.

I wanna know 3 things please horse experts!
1. I don't know how to keep my feet still in the stirrups when i canter i just don't seem to be able to stop them falling out the stirrups?!
2. How do i get my horse to canter?
3. How do i keep my horse in a canter without falling back in to a trot?

@StyleMisser toes * :P btw i'm not trying to correct her, I just say what I see ;)
OK kids, figure this out. The canter is a 3-beated gait, right? So what leg is beat #1, beat #2, and beat #3? Figure that out, and you'll know which of your legs has the most influence and should be used where & most strongly. There are many equine venues in this world, and just as many different canter signals. They all work for various reasons, depending on the horse's balance, job, and way of going. Learn the differences, and you'll be on the road to understanding, not just opinion! :)

why don't you show the transition istead of talking and her just cantering around the whole time. i would like to see her go from a trot to canter, not just cantering....
