GLAD I AM GOING TO HEAVEN WHERE THESE SINGERS AND OTHERS WILL BE SINGING FOR ETERNITY/ I WOULD HATE TO BE SEPARATED FROM GOD AND HIS MUSIC FOREVER, WOULDN'T YOU? AND I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE GIFT OF MUSIC (THAT GOD MUST LOVE IT) AND ALSO FOR HUMOR....OBVIOUSLY HE HAS A WONDERFUL SENSE OF THAT.....;0)

Loved it as always when two wonderful singers raise their voices together. Who cares that it was a secular song. We Christians don't always sing songs containing christian lyrics. Actually there is no such thing as "Christian music" it is music with Christian lyrics. Think on that one folks - it's true. I can't take credit for that statement of truth however as I believe it was Bill Gaither that made that wise statement.

As A Christian teacher I love teaching my Second graders this song. Its at this time the little ones feel like real students. To set the tone for an exciting learning experience this song is introduce at the beginning of the school year.. The words are applicable to many setting. Imagination plus curriculum can provide an exciting year of learning for both teacher and class.

This song originates from the Disney movie "Aladdin". It shouldn't be mistaken for a Christian or religious song (unless of course the songwriters had other intentions). Are the singers Christians? I can't imagine how otherwise you would come to the conclusion that this song is religious, and anyway, Christians don't always sing religious songs. Check the facts first people, and don't get so offended if it is. It's not like Christians singing will hurt you.
