As long as there are still troubles with wireless lan. It will stop many people from switching to linux.
Next problem: Photoshop. People who need Photoshop all the time won't use linux either. Gimp is a major fail compared to Photoshop and don't tell me / them to use wine for PS. For most people, Wine is still a major pain in the a** to use for PS. Nobody switches to linux, just to use Photoshop with wine.
- Accounting software.
- Games (what else).
- As a software dev. system, I'm happy.

lol yeah it's hard getting people to make the switch. I most recently got my mom so switch to Ubuntu and she says gnome is easier to navigate than windows. Although she does miss yahoo messenger and pidgin lacks certain features. Although I am using the new pidgin and it has the features she needs.

KDE is a beautiful DE! I don't know if it's quite ready to be adopted by major distros yet though... certainly by 4.4/5 :)

Every time I try to get compiz working In Arch Linux either with ATI or Nvidia I fail. I have tried countless times to follow the wiki, try different things suggested by people in IRC and also the forums as well. If you could send a link or help me yourself that would be greatly appreciated. Although I don't need compiz It's the fact that I can't get it to work that makes me want it. Not to mention my friends really like compiz and they have Arch Linux as well
