What an unbelievable day! I am so burnt, but it was definitely worth it. The sun was out in full force, there was no wind, the beach was packed, and the waves were a heap of fun.

The day didnt start off too great. We were all ready to leave at about 7:30am, but the bus was feeling a little tired and wanted to sleep in. This was a problem, because it is not easy to get a mechanic in at 7:30am on a public holiday. Luckily, we knew a guy who knew a guy and it all got sorted out around 9am.

As a result of the delay, it was rush rush rush. The bus couldnt park too close to the beach, so we all had to help carrying boxes down, just to speed things up. We managed to get the 1st surf lesson in by 10:10 only 10 minutes late.

Adele, another one of the Billabong surfer girls, and local Mossel Bay surfer, came to visit us, which was great. All 5 surfer girls were out in the water, ripping it up, while the new Billabong girls took a thousand photosas usual. Jennifer and Kayla even managed to find Vernon Koekemoer and get him in a photo!!! Major celebrity sighting.

The waves were perfect for the learn to surf classes today and I think the girls on the beach knew this, because they were all booked up within about 15 minutes. Even the yoga was packedguys, girls, children, and adults were stretching, falling over, getting sandy, and having a laugh. They were so busy in fact that we had to throw in an extra class just to keep everyone happy.

As usual, Marius had his silly games on the beach. Blowing up beach balls, hoola hoping, running up and down, and basically keeping the kids occupied for hours, in the hope that they win a game and get to stick their hands into the awesome lucky dip prize box!

I must say, today was so much fun that I think we made up for the bad weather in Plett. Now we are down to only 2 more events Herolds Bay tomorrow and Camps Bay on Friday. We are all feeling a little sad that the tour is about to endI guess we will just have to make the most of it and really go crazy for the last 2.

Hope to see you there!
