Just wanted to share a Christmas video I created in 2005 for Casting Crown's "While You Were Sleeping". Think about all the things we let slip by while we have become so complacent in our lives.

Our country is so far from God! I don't understand why people won't turn to the only Truth in life? God gave His only Son to die on the cross for us so we could be forgiven. How can anyone ignore that kind of love? Jesus went to the Cross even though He knew what He would suffer! Our country needs to WAKE UP! It's not about you, it's about Him. God would have to apologize to Sodom and Gemorrah if He let this country continue to do what its doing--He won't. God is never wrong! God Bless everyone!

One of the lyrics that truly stuck out to me was "while we're sung to sleep by philosophies of save the trees and kill the children" it makes me think how far America's priorities have gone and what truly matters to us. Its depressing to see a nation under god furthering itself from his teachings of which gave it structure.

God will teach you my friend, start in his word, the Bible. I'd recommend the gospel of John first. I encourage you to pray (talk to God) before reading each night. Ask him for understanding and spiritual knowledge from his word. God desires all to be saved. Seek him out, you can have as much Jesus in your life as you want. The bible assures us all of this.

How old are you? Teenager? Find a church that has a youth ministry that has a strong youth pastor. Older than that? Find a church that has a small group fellowship, meeting in households. Sounds like you have given up on getting much benefit from traditional church services,and that's OK. I just offer these suggestions. Perhaps even better is to get involved with ministries yourself, like AWANA. you will learn as you teach.

You can go to church right on your computer. Check out David Platt at Radical.net - one of the better teachers out there.

In short, God created you for a purpose (Eph 2:10), preordained for good works, and to understand what you've been created for you need to surrender to Him and His ways (Rom 12:1-2). And though we come to Him as slaves, He adopts us as sons, becoming our perfect heavenly Father, full of promises and blessings for those that are His. Rom 8:15
