Response to ~ My DOG REALLY PLAYS the PIANO ~

Another listen to chopsticks.

...maybe we'll eventually work on teaching Albert how to play the piano himself too ;)

  • If this was hurting his ears, we'd know because he'd be pawing at them. This fascinates me. I'm working on a rapid language building paradigm. I had no idea it could include dogs. Thanks VERY Much.

  • @reXmcKeys and I have no idea of what rapid language is but thanks watch anyway. Albert

  • They aren't hurting his ears, hes just singing along with it. I play the piano around my dogs all the time and they barely even notice.

  • Albert has a vocal "edge!". A fine legato quality!

  • my dog does that too!!!!!

  • Good dog!

  • My dog Fitz sings to the piano too! So does my baby lab, Bella. Fitz and this dog are like twins... hmmmmm

  • @20dasdave07 Dogs have the ability to filter out and discriminate the sounds they want to hear and attune the volume if necessary. They have much more sensitive hearing, but clearly they can tolerate it without a problem. They are not being hurt. If that was the case, then city dogs say in NYC would all be writhing in pain on street level.

  • @spongygirl20 it does not hurt their ears....dumb bitch

  • If I am correct, & thank God I am often not, I believe we can train animals to sing 3 part harmony. Put that in your pipe fella! ;-) I came to this conclusion after seeing your video, and the one about the dog with 1000 words.

With language; people are always making adjustments, whether conscious or not. I've been doing it for 55 yrs. Many times, only a slight variation in pitch is needed to solicit a stored memory, or temporary absolute. I have written much on this. Look forward to leaning

  • I'm speaking from both experience with the science, and as a 'abstract theory guy': I've been working on this rapid language paradigm; whereas, I can identify quickly what language will be required to communicate with someone. Much like tuning an acousto-optic filter with white light passing through. You only need to tune it slightly to get a different color. That should clear everything up!! LOL
