I had my alarm clock set to WLS/animal stories every morning befoer I went to school. Simlpy loved it. That was some of the best radio I have ever listened too. Horay for the '70s.

@jfiegel I have those 3 LP's and am in the process of putting them on Cd myself. But you can find them on the WLS website. Actually I saw volumes 4 & 5 on there. Might have to check them out....

Thank you so much for posting this. It really brought a smile to my face. I grew up in the Chicago area in the 70's and 80's and Uncle Lar was an institution.
