  • How long do you have to keep the molly in the breeder and do you still keep the baby mollies in the breeder without the mom ? Plz reply bceuz my molly might be pregnant and i haz da supplies for it

  • @JenniferDarkness If you have plants in your tank, you only have to separate them for a couple of days, otherwise about 2 weeks

  • what do you call the place where the fish gave birth? i want to buy like that. what is that called is it called fish tank separator or something related? pls. reply my molly is giving birth soon

  • @aceann19 It's called a breeder. You can find them at petsmart for less than $10

  • How do you tell if it's big enough for the breeders tank

  • @AntiBookReader You kind of have to judge it. It takes some experience, but if you look at their belly and it looks close to bursting right open, then the Molly will give birth soon.

  • @sharonthepixie so i should not put the adult in at all plus havent seen the baby since and the female is still fat

  • @mrtroysome

put the fry in the tank or the fry will get eaten or sucked into the filter

  • can anybody help one day i woke up and saw a tadpole like thing it was completley white in my tank my dalmation mollie has been fat for about 2 months now could this be one of her young if so should i put her in the breeder cuz im not sure in case it kills her please help

  • @johnnyfisalive how u can tell that a molly is pregnant is that she will b really fat and sometimes there is a dark spot near the tail. How u can tell a male from a female is that on the females their fins are more ROUNDER and on the males the fins are more STRAIGHT.

  • She's not THAT fat tho, which makes me wonder...

  • I got a Dalmatian Molly and I think she might be pregnant... I'm not sure but that's what I'm trying to figure out... I guess you could consider her fat, but she has a red splotch on her stomach, every once in a while her fins will go down and she will wiggle. Idk what's wrong!! Plz help!!

  • Why is there a yellow egg?? nd why did she do that?? PLEASE ANSWER!!

  • @MrFishbreeder or just put a suspected pregger into the nursery tank and wait

  • I have 3 females with 2 males, but one is bigger and more dominant but very gentle. One female (I believe my orange lyretail) had 20 fry and I got all of them in a baby net. They are doing well. They aren't from my dominant male though, I think she was pregnant when I bought her but she didn't really show it. In that case all the babies should be lyretails. Now all 3 of my females (Lyretail, Black, and dalmation) are pregnant. I love mollies :)

  • My brothers Molly gave birth at like 2 o'clock am a on the first day of school. I have one of the babies it's sooooo cute XD
