I was the type of "small seller" Ebay now despises and has run off. I paid them between $300-500/month in fees. That's about $4k/year. I know of no company in the world that would work so hard to piss off customers paying them that kind of money, especially given their huge profit margins. Ebay sellers actually pay Ebay to come to work- how great is that for Ebay? Why would they run all their sellers off, along with their hundreds and thousands of dollars a month in fees? It's nuts.

@TedManiax Ted he didn't make Ebay- the site concept was introduced by Pierre Omidyar in the mid-90's. Millions of sellers eventually climbed on board and made Ebay a great community of buyers and sellers. Pierre soon sold out his stake in the company and it went corporate. It's been downhill since. In 2008, John Donahoe came on board as CEO and Ebay suddently became quite seller-unfriendly. Since sellers are Ebay's customers and they're leaving in droves, Ebay is soon to perish.
