I put a video responce of part one of 12 to my Story Structure series. Please feel free to make video responces on my videos. I usually end up getting about 300 views in a short time. I just put these up yesterday.

Right, this is very important. Show different views on the theme by giving each character their own view on the theme. The readers decide what character's view they identify with. But the writer still chooses the correct answer by how the story ends. But if you do it this way you do not preach to the reader.
