This song was featured on an episode of the Muppet Show -- Marisa Berenson sang it :) Very cute... and extremely creepy. Her grin at the end of the sketch was the creepiest...

Wow, this is disturbing for a kids' song... I had to look it up to see whether it was real nor not. I wonder what I would have thought of this as a kid... Interesting thought! Then again, I'm the kind of kid who watched horror movies, so I might have liked it.

This always reminds me of family and how family members act like they're in favor of visits from grandparents, aunts and uncles just to be nice or to be the welcoming family hosts we're all supposed to be. But when they stay for more than 3 or 4 days, there comes an urge to kick them up the backside and throw them out the do' way before they leave.

This is great. I bought this album (Inside Shel Silverstein) when it came out.... loved it, this was one of my favs on it.

I also like the I'm being eaten by a boa constrictor song!
