The Matrix 4 Teaser (Fake)

A fake teaser for a fourth Matrix film.
While download clips for requests I found several of these Matrix 4 trailers so I thought I'd make my own.
I kept the title just '4' to make for more anticipation (since this is a teaser trailer) and because I'm assuming the Wachowski Bros. might want to distance this movie from the previous two movies.

I'm a staunch fan of the series but not a fanatic. I enjoyed the last two films for their merits as action showcases and the quirky philosophical stew the entire series is known for, but the characters took a large hit when the focus shifted from Neo's awakening to the war in Zion. A lot of people think that the final two films wrapped up every loose end, but I think one of the things that makes The Matrix such a great franchise is that it encompasses an entire world of possibility. To succeed in reinvigorating itself if they ever did make a fourth movie I would suggest...
-More focus on characters and make them more human.
-More kung fu action and gun fights.
-More investigation into the mysteries of The Matrix.
-A lower budget so the focus remains on crafting a story over making big special effects (like the first movie).
-
My idea for a story for the fourth movie would focus around the largely left behind matrix warriors: Niobe, Ghost, and Morpheus. The plot should deal with the loss of 'The One' and the failing truce between the awakened and the machines. I also thought it would be interesting if the new agent threat was a black man, perhaps even with a connection to The Oracle, proving that the machines are ubiquitous. There could be fights on both sides of reality, perhaps a rebellion in 'the real world' of humans who want to go back to The Matrix, and a war in The Matrix to secure The One's remains...or what is supposed to be his remains. The little teaser at the end suggests that Neo might not be as gone as many suspect XD

The jumping guy is from the movie Surrogates, which actually I found quite interesting :)

I'm glad you liked it! I tend to title things with 'fake' though because people always complain I'm trying to trick them. Its flattering that they think its real XD

Dammit, I still need to see Surrogates.

I have Encore but it's still on the main channel Starz. I'll either have to watch it on megavideo or wait patiently.

Anyway, yeah, people are dumb. If it was real, there would be word spread about it.

I used to make lame fake trailers including a Marvel Black Panther Trailer with Wesley Snipes & Julianne Moore in the leads. I used footage from Art of War (2000), Blade trilogy, WAR (2007) with Jet Li, Ultimate Avengers II animation & NEXT.
