Producer / Writer / Narrator: Abbie Kearse

Part 1:
Another way too much fun - pinch me imma getting paid for this moment was with a trip to Dave Mustaine's home & recording studio in Arizona. The Megadeth album "Youthanasia" was set to go on sale in stores at midnight on Halloween 1994. Enjoy!

btw- filming at the stable w the pretty ponies my idea - Mustaine wearing a cowboy outfit not mine - wanted to make him go back into the house and change into something all black for metals sake - just no time on the hectic one day shoot.

Part 2 Megadeth in AZ:
Really wasn't going to include this on my reel of work because of all of the negative emotions that comes with it. As the producer of the shoot & post production of the segment to air on the MTV News program "The Week In Rock" and daily new spots I should have known better on one subject I pushed in the interview in a very factitious manor. Mustaine forever-eva-ever will get a "imma sorry" for this as he pointed out he was mad at me for abusing my power at MTV. He was right. Now I really didn't think much of it at the time bc in my work bubble I never realized how many eyeballs were really on my work seen worldwide. Mustaine and I go back a long time, but still not an excuse to air a soundbite that might cause a ruckus. This is the one re: Pantera borrowing Megadeth's & Metallica's sound. I was being a wise-ass as usual when around The General (who dishes it out a-good-N-plenty), but I should have been less of a mean-girl and not push the subject anymore.

My heads up lesson to artists being interviewed you can always say "no" I am not going to answer that question if you feel it was out of line or uncomfortable answering it. My Grandparents taught me "all you can do is ask" and "all they can say is no" so ask.

Good news point about that shoot we caught the "magic hour" in AZ on tape in the background w the 2 Daves and it sure looks purrrdy - Abbie
