Part 3: This is the beginning of a new series where I start building the Excursion Train and Coal Mine Scenes.

Music Notes: The music on this video was recorded using Sonar Home Studio Ver 6.0. The drums and keyboards were played on an M-Audio Keystation 61 ES and/or sequenced in the MIDI Editor. The bass used is an SX Fretless Jazz Clone Modded with Dimarzio J Pickups.

  • how do you clean all the foam up

    plzz reply and make video

  • @toma123toma132 I put the big pieces in a plastic bag. I use a shop vac for the rest.

  • The green foam from your earlier videos looks like it shaves a lot easier than this pink stuff, if you know what I'm alluding to. Doesn't look like it leaves as much of a rough surface to me. Any particular reason you switched from the green to the pink foam?

  • @ViperFace I read about using florist foam in N scale magazine and I wanted to try it. I also didn't need to get a 4 X 8 foot sheet of the ping stuff and the florist foam comes in smaller blocks.

  • @thebige61 Well, if that be the case, which style foam do you recommend? I plan on creating a 4' x 10' layout with varying scenery, so nothing too fancy.

  • @ViperFace It all depends on how extensive your mountains are going to be. If your going to have a lot of mountains than the pink extruded foam would be the way to go. The florist foam is fine for small scenes but I've found it to be a bit pricier than extruded foam.
