Throughout 2010 Isla Urbana worked with an indigenous community of Huicholes in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Our team installed three cisterns each with a rainwater harvesting system. These systems will ensure that the community has access to clean water throughout the year. This project is called "Ha Tatukari" which means "Water is life" in the Huichol language.
