The AUTO DROP SHOT can be used with OR without Rapid Fire (Rapid Fire OFF).

Yes, Pressing RT will automatically drop you prone, aim and shot.

When you are aiming with LT, you will not drop and you'll shot with Regular Rapid Fire.

This allows you to aim and shoot from behind barriers.
