David Tupper, an artist born and raised near the Tijuana border, mixes traditional tattoo art with iconic American symbolism to create paintings with bright colors and stark line contrasts. Tupper talks about his two loves, tattooing and painting. Reproductions of Tupper's work can be found on Artaissance.com.
Wow!
I googled David and this is what I got...
David influenced my life, a lot, when I was a teen. It would be nice to get a hold of him.

David is a talented artist, an awesome bartender, and a good friend. I would spend every day in my favorite bar looking at his pictures and getting drunk off his drinks. I moved away to philly for a few years , but now I'm back, and can't wait to see my friend again....

We actually bought some of his paintings at a gallery here in Seattle (was in the Pike Lofts building) and he then helped to decorate the restaurant, Tango Tapas. We really enjoyed his personality, and still love the paintings. If anyone could help us reconnect with David, we'd really appreciate it -- you can track me down thru my website (nosnivelling dot com) or email me via YouTube -- thanks!
