As a decorated veteran, I fully endorse this song. As a musician, I was not familiar with the Burns Sisters until I stumbled across this. While it lacks the anger and immediacy of the Little Stevie version, the bluegrass feel adds a yearning and wistful feel that is entirely appropriate.

This song both makes me proud to be an American, and furious at the last few administrations that have sold our people a false bill of goods, and asked our grandchildren to pay the price.
