@RedroomStudios Yeah, it's true! They have some kind of obsession with the war, but it's aimed to bring recognition to their heroes, right? I see it that way. It's very difficult to get a picture of this country by two episodes of a tv show anyway but I also think that in my part of the world (America [the continent] and western Europe) medias and political leaders have communicated an image of North Korea related to 'evilness', 'bad people' and 'violence fanatics' and It's not like that at all

@fedebjalways where did you get the impression that I was comparing N. Korea to the US? You are right, the US has a terrible history of inflicting itself on other countries around the world and I find it to be terrible. But the way that war is virtually the only thing portrayed in the N. Korean culture... its almost like a cartoon reality... sets it apart from virtually anywhere else in the world. There seems to be some signs that the new leadership there might be more open...

@RedroomStudios And the United States culture ISN'T based on war?? Really? Those guys have been involved in nearly every war the world's ever had... To tell you an interesting fact (or sad, depending on your point of view), President Obama was distinguished with the Nobel Peace Award, right? A few months after that, he declared the war to Libya!!! No comments...

I saw this episode, of all the travel guides theyve been with. These 2 North Koreans were the best. They sure had fun with those 2, I didnt like the ending where they had to say goodbye, it was kinda sad.

@worteltjd Pakistan, India, the UK, France, and Russia would defend North Korea if it ever got into a nuclear stand off with the US? seriously? thats what you think?

@CosmicKush420 a nuclear war is not in the making and even if it was the world would not be toast but the USA would be, Korea is no threat to the international community but the ellusive manipulative ways of the USA are and don't forget that Pakistan, India the UK france, and Russia have a shitload of nuclear warheads too and who do you think they would side with?a socialist hermit kingdom with no international significance or a imperial capitalist warmonger/competitor of a nation like the US

War sucks... it was difficult to understand how so much of the DPRK culture could be based around war. The two guides that the guys had in North Korea were an absolute delight though!
